Nang Rong Beach
A navy-managed beach with clear water and clean sand, restaurants and seating along the shore, and a small entry fee. Family-friendly and much quieter than Pattaya.
Toei Ngam Beach
Inside the marine corps camp, with dramatic boulders and fine bay views. Entry requires showing ID at the gate, and the beach opens to the public during set hours.
Samae San Island
A clear-water island under navy management, about 20 minutes by boat from Sattahip pier, with snorkelling spots and a natural history museum. Go early — boat departures are limited.
Wat Yansangwararam
A large temple complex between Pattaya and Sattahip with spacious shaded grounds, a grand chedi and handsome halls — an easy stop en route.
Nong Nooch Garden
A vast botanical garden with a dinosaur park and Thai cultural shows, between Pattaya and Sattahip. Allow about three hours; excellent for families with children.
Sattahip market and beachfront seafood
The town's fresh market offers well-priced seafood, and several beachfront restaurants stay open into the evening — a good dinner stop before returning to Bangkok.
Beautiful beaches without the crowds
Nang Rong, Toei Ngam and Nam Sai beaches are managed by the navy and stay far cleaner and quieter than Pattaya's — ideal for families with small children.

How long is Bangkok to Sattahip?
About two to two and a half hours via Motorway 7, or up to three on Friday evenings and long weekends. Leaving early on Saturday puts you there before nine with a full day ahead.
How does Sattahip differ from Pattaya?
Sattahip is far quieter, with cleaner beaches under navy management and none of Pattaya's nightlife. It suits families with young children and older travellers seeking calm, while Pattaya offers more energy and a wider choice of restaurants.
How do we visit Samae San Island?
We drop you at Sattahip pier, from where a navy boat takes about 20 minutes. Sailings are limited, so arrive before 9am and check the island is open, as it periodically closes for environmental recovery. Agree a return pick-up time with the driver.
What is included in ฿4,000?
Fuel, motorway and expressway tolls, the driver and bottled water. It is a flat one-way whole-vehicle price. Beach entry fees, island boats, attraction tickets and ฿500 per night driver accommodation are separate.
Can you transfer from U-Tapao Airport to Sattahip?

On a full-day charter, what if we go over the time or distance?
If the van and driver stay with your group all day (same-day return or sightseeing stops), packages start at 12 hours · 360 km (Commuter ฿7,500 / Alphard ฿18,000). Extra time is ฿300 per hour for the Commuter or ฿600 per hour for the Alphard, and extra distance is ฿25/km (Commuter) or ฿45/km (Alphard). Entrance tickets are extra, and if you add stops or change plans along the way, we always tell you the price difference first. One-way transfers (Commuter ฿4,000 / Alphard ฿9,000) are a fixed fare with no extra time or distance charges.
