Bangkok to Hua Hin Taxi & Private Van with Driver

The route is about 220 km. Outside rush hour it takes roughly 2.5 to 3 hours. On Friday evenings, Saturday mornings and public holidays, allow 3.5 to 4.5 hours, since the Rama II Road stretch is where the delays build up. It covers fuel, expressway tolls, the driver and bottled water — a flat rate per trip, not a meter or a per-kilometre charge. A Toyota Alphard (6–7 seats) is ฿9,500 per trip. A 50% deposit confirms the booking and the balance is paid on the day. If you want a long detour or overnight use, tell us first and we will quote the full amount before you commit.

Yes — it is a private charter, so the vehicle is yours for the journey. Common stops are the Maeklong Railway Market, Amphawa Floating Market, Khao Wang in Phetchaburi and Mrigadayavan Palace. Mention them when you book so we can plan the timing; short breaks for restrooms or snacks you can simply ask the driver for.

It works if you start early. Leaving around 06:00 puts you in Hua Hin by about 09:00, giving you a full day, and heading back before 18:00 keeps you ahead of the traffic returning to Bangkok. This is charged as two trips — send us your outbound and return times and we will schedule the driver around them.

If you only need the transfer down and the transfer back on set dates, that is simply two trips and the van does not wait in Hua Hin. If you want the van and driver with you throughout for daily sightseeing, it becomes a daily charter rate instead. Our private van taxi from Bangkok to Hua Hin is a fixed price per vehicle, one way: Toyota Commuter ฿4,000 (9–13 seats) or Toyota Alphard ฿9,500 (6–7 seats), including driver, fuel, tolls and drinking water — no meter and no surcharge for luggage. Pickup from Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang airport is the same fare. The return from Hua Hin costs the same.

If the van and driver stay with your group all day (same-day return or sightseeing stops), packages start at 12 hours · 360 km (Commuter ฿7,500 / Alphard ฿18,000). Extra time is ฿300 per hour for the Commuter or ฿600 per hour for the Alphard, and extra distance is ฿25/km (Commuter) or ฿45/km (Alphard). Entrance tickets are extra, and if you add stops or change plans along the way, we always tell you the price difference first. One-way transfers (Commuter ฿4,000 / Alphard ฿9,500) are a fixed fare with no extra time or distance charges. For this route a same-day return is about 480 km, so the total including extra distance is Commuter ฿10,500 / Alphard ฿23,400.
