Thailand's largest wholesale market for second-hand clothing, bags and household goods, spread across several zones and buildings. It opens early and winds down in the late afternoon, so come early for the best stock.
Khlong Luek border checkpoint
The Thai–Cambodian crossing to Poipet. Check the current opening hours and required documents before travelling, as regulations can change.
Sdok Kok Thom Khmer temple
A substantial restored Khmer sanctuary in Khok Sung district, quieter and far less visited than Thailand's better-known Khmer sites — rewarding for history enthusiasts.
Pang Sida National Park
Known for its butterflies and Pang Sida waterfall. From June to August large butterfly congregations gather along the streams, an uncommon sight worth timing a trip around.
Lalu
An eroded landscape of earth pillars and cliffs shaped by wind and water, a smaller cousin of Phae Mueang Phi, in Ta Phraya district. Best photographed in early morning or late afternoon.

The town market offers local food and inexpensive souvenirs and makes a practical meal stop before heading home, with the relaxed feel of a border town that has not yet grown crowded.

Frequently asked questions
How long is Bangkok to Rong Kluea market?
About three to three and a half hours for the 215 km. Leaving Bangkok at 4am puts you at the market around 7.30, when stock is still full and the crowds have not built.
Can we shop and return the same day?
Easily — it is a regular run for us. A twelve-hour charter at ฿7,500 for a Commuter works well: leave at 4am, shop until afternoon and be back in Bangkok in the evening, with the van staying with you as secure storage.
How much stock can the van carry?
The Commuter's rear space takes a reasonable quantity of sacks and boxes with six to eight passengers aboard. For genuinely commercial volumes, tell us at booking and we will advise whether fewer passengers or a second van suits better.
Can you drop us at the Khlong Luek checkpoint?
Yes, right at the entrance, from where you clear immigration yourself. Check the crossing hours and required documents before travelling, and we can arrange a return pick-up at the same point.
What is included in ฿5,000?
Fuel, motorway and expressway tolls, the driver and bottled water. It is a flat one-way whole-vehicle price, not per passenger. Park fees, meals and ฿500 per night driver accommodation on overnight trips are separate.
On a full-day charter, what if we go over the time or distance?
If the van and driver stay with your group all day (same-day return or sightseeing stops), packages start at 12 hours · 360 km (Commuter ฿7,500 / Alphard ฿18,000). Extra time is ฿300 per hour for the Commuter or ฿600 per hour for the Alphard, and extra distance is ฿25/km (Commuter) or ฿45/km (Alphard). Entrance tickets are extra, and if you add stops or change plans along the way, we always tell you the price difference first. One-way transfers (Commuter ฿5,000 / Alphard ฿10,500) are a fixed fare with no extra time or distance charges.
