Travel tips for this route

  1. Phahonyothin Road into Bangkok between Wang Noi and Rangsit is very congested from Sunday afternoon into the evening and on the last day of long holidays. A morning departure from Nakhon Sawan is usually much quicker.
  2. For a flight, Don Mueang lies on the northern approach into Bangkok, while Suvarnabhumi is on the east side and takes longer. Plan to reach the airport by the airline's check-in time (typically about 3 hours before an international departure and 2 hours before a domestic one) and allow at least an extra hour for traffic.
  3. During Pak Nam Pho's Chinese New Year festival, several town-centre streets are crowded or temporarily closed. Send a pickup pin the van can reach and allow extra time.
  4. Local favourites such as Nakhon Sawan mochi and dried foods travel well. Tell us about bags and boxes when booking so we can choose the right vehicle.
  5. To stop at Bueng Boraphet or anywhere off the route, say so when booking — stops add time, so the team quotes it for you to confirm first.
  6. Send Google Maps pins for pickup and drop-off plus a phone number you can be reached on during the trip, so the driver can contact you easily.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much is a private van from Nakhon Sawan to Bangkok?

One way per vehicle: Toyota Commuter ฿5,000 (9–13 seats) or Toyota Alphard ฿11,000 (6–7 seats), including driver, fuel, tolls and drinking water. It is not priced per person, and drop-off at Don Mueang or Suvarnabhumi airport costs the same.

How far is Nakhon Sawan to Bangkok and how long does it take?

The published route distance is about 260 km, roughly 3–3.5 hours via the Asian Highway and Phahonyothin Road. Sunday evenings and long holidays can take longer, so a morning start is best.

Where do you pick up, and can you drop us at the airport?

We pick up from homes, hotels, dormitories or workplaces in Nakhon Sawan — for districts far from town, send the map pin so the fare can be confirmed first — and drop off at a Bangkok home, condo or hotel, or at Don Mueang or Suvarnabhumi airport. Send your flight time when booking.

What is included and what is not?

The whole vehicle with driver, fuel, tolls and drinking water, priced per vehicle rather than per person. Meals, lake boat trips, admission fees and any stops or waiting not agreed in advance are not included; overnight charters add ฿500 per night for driver accommodation.

Should I choose the Commuter or the Alphard?

The Commuter has 9–13 seats for big families and lots of gifts. The Alphard has 6–7 captain seats and is more comfortable for a drive of three hours or more. If you have several suitcases, tell us so luggage space can be confirmed before booking.

Is the return trip from Bangkok to Nakhon Sawan the same price?

Yes. Bangkok to Nakhon Sawan is also ฿5,000 for a Commuter or ฿11,000 for an Alphard, one way per vehicle, because we have vans based at both ends and charge no empty run. For a same-day round trip or a van that waits for you, the team quotes an hourly charter.

How do I book, and is there a deposit?

Send your date, time, pickup, drop-off, number of passengers and luggage via LINE @kingtocar or call 084-709-3719. The team confirms the vehicle and total, then a 50% deposit secures the booking and the balance is paid on the day. Cancel at least 3 days before travel for a full deposit refund.

Can we stop on the way into Bangkok?

Yes — for example Wat Khiri Wong, a photo at Pak Nam Pho or souvenir shopping before leaving town. Bueng Boraphet is off the route. Tell us the stops and how long you want when booking, and the team will quote it for you to confirm first.
