Erawan Falls, Erawan National Park
About 65 km beyond town. The park opens roughly 08:00–16:30 and rangers start closing the upper tiers from around 15:00, so go early if you want a last visit. A pickup or stop at Erawan is off the direct route, so the team quotes it first; park entry fees are not in the fare.
Hellfire Pass Memorial, Sai Yok
The interpretive centre opens 09:00–16:00 daily but closes for about three weeks of maintenance each May. If you stay in Sai Yok, a morning visit fits before the drive. It is far from town, so mention it at booking to confirm timing and price.
Mallika City R.E. 124, Sai Yok
A recreated Siamese town from the reign of King Rama V, on the road from Sai Yok back towards town. If we collect you in Sai Yok, it makes a short photo stop on the way; check opening hours before you go.
Tham Krasae & the Death Railway, Sai Yok
A wooden trestle hugging the cliff above the Khwae Noi River. Only a few trains cross each day, so check the timetable if you want to see one. It is outside town, so mention it at booking to plan the time.
Bridge over the River Kwai & Kanchanaburi War Cemetery
Both in town. Walk the historic railway bridge or pay your respects at the war cemetery before joining the motorway back to Bangkok. Mention it at booking so the time is planned in.
Wat Tham Suea, Tha Muang
A hilltop temple with a huge seated Buddha looking over rice fields and the Mae Klong River, in Tha Muang not far from the road back. Stairs and a lift both go up. A good last stop before Bangkok; check opening hours first.

The Bang Yai–Kanchanaburi motorway is now open along its full length and is quicker than the old Phetkasem road into Bangkok. Its tolls are already in the fare.

Is this a shared minivan, and should we choose the Commuter or the Alphard?
It is not shared — the whole vehicle is private to your group. The Commuter has 9–13 seats for larger groups and more luggage; the Alphard has 6–7 more comfortable seats but less luggage space, so tell us your bag count and the team will confirm before you book.
Is the return trip the same price as Bangkok to Kanchanaburi?
Yes. Bangkok to Kanchanaburi and Kanchanaburi to Bangkok cost the same: Commuter ฿4,000 and Alphard ฿9,000 per vehicle, one way, because our vans are based in the area and none has to run empty from Bangkok. You can book both directions together and the team confirms each date and time.
How do I book, and how much is the deposit?

The team confirms the vehicle and total, a 50% deposit secures the booking and the balance is paid on the travel day. Cancel at least 3 days before travel and the deposit is refunded in full.
Can we stop at the River Kwai Bridge or Wat Tham Suea on the way back?
Yes, short stops on the route are fine — the River Kwai Bridge, the war cemetery or Wat Tham Suea, for example. Tell us at booking so the timing works. For several sights or places off the route, the team quotes first for you to confirm before booking.
