The old city and its temples
Staying inside the moat? Many lanes are narrow and one-way, so send the exact hotel name or map pin. If a van cannot reach the door, the team agrees the nearest pickup point with you before the travel day.
Tha Phae walking street and Night Bazaar
A popular hotel area for our pickups. Tha Phae closes to traffic on Sunday evenings, so a last-night market walk followed by an early start the next morning works best.
Doi Suthep and Wat Phra That
Visit the mountain temple the day before you leave. The drive to Bangkok should start early, and going up Doi Suthep on the morning of departure means arriving in Bangkok very late.
Mae Rim, Mae Taeng and elephant camps
Staying at a resort in Mae Rim or Mae Taeng north of the city? We can collect you there too, but it adds time before heading south. Send the location and the team confirms the price and pickup time first.
Doi Inthanon
Southwest of the city, about two hours away and not on the main road to Bangkok. If you want to go, make it a day trip the day before you travel — ask the team for a day-charter quote.
Lampang and Sukhothai en route
Lampang is about ninety minutes after leaving Chiang Mai, with Wat Phra That Lampang Luang nearby, while Sukhothai suits a two-day return with one night on the road. Check historical park hours and admission before you go.

Priced per vehicle, better with more people
The fare is per vehicle, not per person. A group of eight to ten with lots of luggage often comes out ahead of buying everyone a flight and paying for extra bags.

About 700 km, taking roughly 9–11 hours including two or three breaks. Leaving Chiang Mai around 05:00–06:00 puts you in Bangkok in the late afternoon or evening.
Where do you pick up in Chiang Mai, and can you drop us at a Bangkok airport?

What is included, and what is not?
The driver, fuel, tolls and bottled water are included. Meals, admission tickets and any overnight accommodation are not; if you split the trip over two days, driver accommodation is ฿500 per night, and the team confirms the full total before you book.
Should we choose the Commuter or the Alphard?
The Commuter has 9–13 seats and plenty of space for luggage — the better choice for big groups or a lot to bring home. The Alphard has 6–7 seats and is more comfortable over long distances, with less luggage room. Tell us your passengers and bags and we will advise honestly.
Is the return trip from Bangkok to Chiang Mai the same price?
Yes. Bangkok or Suvarnabhumi/Don Mueang airport to Chiang Mai costs the same as this direction: ฿12,000 for a Commuter or ฿20,000 for an Alphard, per vehicle, one way. If you need both legs, send both dates together.
How do we book, and how much is the deposit?
Send the pickup date and time, your Chiang Mai hotel, Bangkok drop-off, passengers and luggage via LINE @kingtocar or call 084-709-3719. The team confirms the vehicle and total, and a 50% deposit secures the booking with the balance paid on the day. Cancel at least 3 days before travel for a full deposit refund.
Can we stop in Lampang or Sukhothai on the way?
Yes. Meal and restroom breaks are a normal part of this drive. To visit Wat Phra That Lampang Luang or Sukhothai Historical Park properly, we suggest splitting the trip over two days — send the plan on LINE and the team works out the timing and quotes it for you to confirm.
