Khao Lak Beach
A long Andaman beach in Phang Nga on the first part of the route—stop for the sea view or a meal before the road climbs into the hills.
Takua Pa Old Town
The old tin-mining town with Sino-Portuguese shophouses, just before the turn onto Highway 401; a short walk is enough to see it.
Khao Sok National Park headquarters
The start of the park's jungle trails and waterfalls, near Khao Sok village and not far from Highway 401. Tell us when booking if you want to stop, and check the park fee and opening hours first.
Cheow Lan Lake (Ratchaprapha Dam)
A lake among limestone peaks in Ban Ta Khun district, a detour off Highway 401. Boat tours and raft stays are booked separately; tell us when booking so the timing and fare can be confirmed.
Surat Thani town and San Chao market
A riverside city on the Tapi River. San Chao market is the evening food market in the centre—good for southern Thai food after check-in.
Don Sak pier
The ferry port for Koh Samui and Koh Phangan, east of Surat Thani town. For a drop-off here, send the ferry company and sailing time and the team quotes it for you to confirm; the van does not board and ferry fares are not included.

A short restroom or shopping stop can be arranged with the driver. Sightseeing stops such as Khao Sok National Park or Cheow Lan Lake, or waiting time, are quoted for you to confirm before travel.
