Sarasin Bridge
The bridge over the Pak Phra channel linking Phuket island to Phang Nga province, on the way to Khao Sok on every trip.
Khao Lak Beach
A long Andaman beach in Phang Nga, right on the way; stop for the sea view or a meal before heading into the jungle.
Takua Pa Old Town
The old tin-mining town with Sino-Portuguese shophouses; a short walk is enough to see it.
Khao Sok National Park headquarters
The start of the park's jungle trails and waterfalls, close to Khao Sok village. Check entry fees and opening hours before going in.
Cheow Lan Lake (Ratchaprapha Dam)
A lake among limestone peaks, about an hour from Khao Sok village. Boat tours and floating-raft stays are booked separately with operators.

The road runs north over the Sarasin Bridge, along the Phang Nga coast, then inland at Takua Pa into the mountains. Ask the driver for a break or viewpoint on the way.
